Do you have services for children or youth?
We have Sunday school classes at 10AM for various ages. We don’t offer any services for children or youth during Sunday morning service or Wednesday night Bible study. However, we do have a youth Zoom Bible study every other Thursday evening at 6:30 PM.
-
What's the style of worship?
We love hymns and a wide range of Gospel from traditional to contemporary. We are open to the move of the Spirit yet we believe the preaching of God’s Word is a central component of gathered worship.
-
Will I be welcomed if I don't wear a suit/dress?
When you visit Hope In Christ, you’ll see folks wearing their Sunday’s best, and others dressed more casually. We don’t care what you wear, as long as it’s modest—whether three-piece or jeans; dress and church hat or blouse and khakis.
-
How long do your services last?
Sunday morning worship begins at 8AM and ends between 9:45AM and 10AM. Tuesday Bible study begins at 12PM and ends promptly at 1PM. Wednesday night Bible study begins at 6:30PM and ends between 7PM and 7:30PM.

Why do you use the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible?
We teach from the ESV, Because we believe the “word-for-word” translation is better suited to expositional teaching, which is the way we teach the Bible at Hope In Christ each weekend. Expositional teaching is focused on explaining the meaning of a Bible text in its historical and grammatical context, with application in our present-day context.
The ESV seeks to retain strength of “formal” translation, while at the same time smoothing out word choice and order so that it is more easily read and understood privately and publicly.

Are you affiliated with a denomination?
While the word “Baptist” is not in the title of our name, we do strongly hold to historic Baptist doctrines as reflected in the Baptist Faith and Message and the New Hampshire Baptist Confession of Faith (See our “About” tab). We also affiliate with various Baptist associations and conferences.
However, we welcome any Christian, regardless of their denomination. There’s only one Lord, and He’s greater than any denomination. We also encourage nonbelievers to join us in worship on Sunday.
